Mrs. Kate Lichtas
7th Grade Homeroom; Middle School Math
Hello! My name is Kate Lichtas and I am currently teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at St. Cecilia. I graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Cognitive Science and later returned to school and earned an M. Ed from Creighton. I have 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring math. I focus on developing math fluency and logical thinking to help students solve problems both inside and outside of the classroom.
When I am not at school, I enjoy photography, hiking, camping, and cooking. I love traveling and exploring new places. Of course, my favorite travel buddies are my husband, daughter, and dog!
