Mrs. Tammy Mateljan, 4th Grade

IMG_1826.JPG

I am a proud graduate of St. Cecilia Grade School and Cathedral High School.  I attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I received my BS in Elementary Education.  I have taught for almost 20 years, all of them at St. Cecilia's.   This parish is where I grew up, and it is “home” to me.  I truly value the quality education I received, as well as the care and support of the teachers.  The family-like atmosphere is why my heart belongs to St. Cecilia’s.

My wish for my students is that they learn the value of friendship and can look for good in everyone, through their interactions with others in the class and with me.  I want them to see me as a role model and someone they can depend on at all times.  It is important to me to see every student grow in their knowledge and faith during their time with me.

Weekly Blog

Last week and this week have been good. We had board game time on Tuesday. In gym we did yoga. We also had a game day and we played snowball fight without the snow. Tuesday we had an ice day. I didn't do anything fun, but I enjoyed the day. I had a lot of homework because I was sick. I still had a great time with our days off.
