Comedy & Cuisine Highlights

This event involves months of planning and coordination. There are not enough words to express how thankful our school community is for these amazing chairs.

  • Thank you to our amazing Comedy & Cuisine chairs for planning, organizing, and putting on an amazing experience last Saturday night: Mac McLaughlin & Heather Gomes, Chris & Danielle Lyons, and Shannon & Tony Vaccaro.

  • Thank you to Elizabeth Schroeder and her Pretty Productions Team, Sarah & Philip. They put in months of time, planning, ordering, and decorating to transform our space into a beautiful banquet hall.

  • Thank you to next year's Comedy & Cuisine chairs for all of the work they did to support this year's event: Josh & Molly Humpal, John & Maria Anderson, and Peter & Susan Walsh. We are already looking forward to seeing what this team puts together next year!

  • Thank you to Magan Smith (emcee), Mike Schill (live auctioneer and Oscar), and Erin Grace(emcee) for their work on the script and running the event that night on the stage. Always a crowd pleaser, these folks put in lots of time and talent to get our community to bid high and bid often!

  • Thank you to Ben Drickey for working on the script with Erin and putting together a professional video for the event. As with all of the folks mentioned above, Ben donates hours and hours of his time to work with our chairs to showcase our amazing honorees and volunteer/alumni of the year.

  • Thank you to Sammie Rodriquez for continuing to share her photography talent with all of us. She provided onsite professional photography for the live event, captured class photos for purchase, and live Operetta shots.

Enrollment & Financial Aid Information 2023 - 2024

Open enrollment to attend St. Cecilia Cathedral Grade School will open during Catholic Schools Week (January 28 - February 2). We will be utilizing the same online process through Blackbaud this year. Deadline for enrollment for current students is May 1, 2023. After that date, enrollment will open to new families who have toured throughout the school year and been accepted to enroll.

In the meantime, please check out the Children's Scholarship Fund. Applications open on February 14 and close on May 5. We received 31 scholarships for a total of $48,425 for this school year from Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF). Every dollar we received from CSF helps our parish/school budget so we encourage all who qualify for CSF to apply. Did you know that if you are awarded funding for the 23-24 school year, those dollars have the potential to be awarded to your child up through their 8th grade year. CSF is a separate tuition-assistance program from our parish financial aid. CSF is a scholarship and St. Cecilia parish is tuition aid.

Advent - Week 1 - Hope

Advent - Week 1 - Hope

Advent is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ's second coming at the end of time and to the anniversary of Our Lord's birth on Christmas. Below is an Advent music list that our Anna Kolterman, our school liturgist, put together for our classrooms. Feel free to listen to this in the car on the way to school, while making supper, or really whenever you want to!

There are also awesome Advent music lists on Hallow, a Catholic meditation, sleep, and prayer app. So many options to help you prepare your mind, heart, and home for Christmas.

Sign up to Join the St. Cecilia Dad's Club

Are you a dad, or someone who is like a dad to someone at St. Cecilia? We are starting "Dad’s Club" - a social club for anyone who fits that description and wants to help out with a few projects around the school. If interested, please click on the button below and fill out the form to get the notifications.

Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 14th, at 7pm. St. Cecilia’s cornerstone is its' community, let’s put that good will to good use.
