Celebrate School Nutrition Royalty with a “Thank You” - Deadline 4/8/2026

Celebrate School Nutrition Royalty with a “Thank You” through the Nebraska Dept. of Education!

Hear ye, hear ye! Nebraska SNAC and NDE are collecting comments honoring local school nutrition teams (i.e., Nutrition Royalty) that work hard to feed kids around Nebraska! Let it be known that from March 16 - April 8, community members can share their words of appreciation and thanks through this easy online form.

Comments will be shared directly with nutrition teams, through an online gallery and on NDE social media, leading up to National School Lunch Hero Day on May 1st!

Remember to get your tickets for our Operetta performances, and our annual Comedy & Cuisine fundraiser (4/18) today!

Important details for the Operetta performances today & tomorrow are as follows:

• Thursday, March 26th @ 7 pm

  • Attire: Uniform Bottoms with HSM, Jr Spirit Shirt OR Uniform Polo & Cardigan

  • Doors open at 6:30 pm

  • ALL 3rd - 8th grade Chorus students report to the cafeteria @ 6:30 PM (no younger siblings can be dropped off at this time with them).

• Friday, March 27th @ 10:30 am

  • Attire: Full Uniform (Mass @ 8:30 am)

  • Doors open at 10:00 pm

  • NO BACKPACKS

  • Once the performance ends, dismissal is allowed from the Gym after the student checks out with their assigned teacher from Gym. All classes will then dismiss at 12 pm as usual in their designated areas.

Volunteer Opportunities!

Activities Booster Club

• Basketball season is on a roll! Help is needed and appreciated in the concessions or running scoreboard. Either way, you've got a court side view!

• Art Room Helper

• Home & School

• "Room parents" are sharing details via email for class St. Valentine's Day celebrations! 

• Lunch Helper

• Join us in the cafeteria for a couple hours to serve students & have fun! Help on Monday and/or Tuesday is greatly needed & appreciated right now. 

• Stephen Center

• Spend a couple hours serving lunch on a Saturday! Still a few open slots this weekend. It's a great way to serve as a family too. Pro Tip: Wear a hat if you don't want a hair net.

Register for Spring Soccer by Feb. 6th

Spring soccer registration is open for 1st-8th graders. Registration will close Feb 6. Here are dates for the season:

Please share this image with any family, grandparents or friends who may be picking up your student(s). Specifically notice, there is no parking (1) behind parked cars and (2) in front of the childcare on the south side of Webster Street so our childcare families are able to pick up their little ones. Thank you for following and sharing the helpful guidelines to keep dismissal running smoothly for everyone!
