Note from Mr. Tucksen:
Congratulations to all of our students who auditioned for roles in this years' Operetta! It is always one of my favorite moments during the year as I get to witness the incredible depth of talent and bravery our students have. We will be announcing the cast and crew soon.
Thanks, Mrs. Turbes, for a successful Book Fair!
Our Scholastic Book Fair is officially closed, and it was a HUGE success thanks to our incredible school community!
The highlight was definitely our "Donuts with Grownups" event. In just 90 minutes, our kids and grownups devoured 25 dozen glazed donuts and three dozen sugar cookies, along with gallons of coffee, while purchasing an astonishing $5,000 worth of books!
Thank you to everyone who showed up, waited patiently in line, and stayed to chat with friends—your support and enthusiasm made this event a huge hit.
This year looking to be our biggest yet! Total sales hit $8,500, and we are poised to make a significant investment in our literacy goals. Since 55% of the profits remain directly with our school, we have already made the following purchases:
$1,800 in new books to refresh our library collection!
Fulfill every single teacher's book wish list!
$2,200 in additional classroom resources, including exciting STEAM kits, new furniture, and various supplies teachers have carefully selected from the Scholastic catalog!
This Book Fair truly benefits every student and teacher, ensuring our classrooms and library are stocked with the resources needed for a successful year.
Thank you for making literacy a priority!
