Mrs. Elizabeth Loehr, 5th Grade

This will be my fourth year teaching and first year at St. Cecilia. My family recently relocated to Omaha from Las Vegas, Nevada as a permanent change of station for my husband’s Air Force career. I attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Care Administration. After a few years within the healthcare industry I decided to pursue a career in education. As a part of my transition into education I earned a Master’s of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.

Teaching has been extremely fulfilling and I enjoy igniting the spark of learning within my students. I enjoy making math and science fun to learn with engaging lessons and connections to how topics relate to the real world. My goal is to inspire students to take what they learn and discover new ways to solve problems and innovate. My family is excited to join the St. Cecilia community and call Nebraska home.
